Quick Play issue:

Unfortunately there is an error in the manual stating that you can bring your pre-configured bowler into ‘Quick Play’. You can not bring a pre-configured bowler made in Career into ‘Quick Play’. We apologize for this error and hope that you continue to enjoy Brunswick Bowling for the Wii.

Detailed Control Instructions:

Selecting A Bowling Ball

When it’s your turn, you can switch to a new ball by pressing the 1 button.
All bowlers come with 2 bowling balls.
As you play you unlock additional balls which help further your career.

Viewing the Lane’s Oil Pattern

To view the lane’s oil patter press the 2 button on the Wii Remote.

Adjusting your Bowler’s Approach

To move your bowler to the right or left of the lane press the B button and twist the Wii Remote to the right or left.

Aiming your Bowling Ball

To aim your bowling ball press the left or right direction controls on the + Control Pad.

Bowling

Press the A button and hold the Wii Remote in an upright position.  (Your bowler should bring the ball close to his chest indicating he is set to bowl.)
To start your approach press and hold the B
Swing your arm back and follow through in a forward motion. (Continue holding the B button.)
When you are ready to release the ball, releasing the B button

Put a Spin on your Bowling Ball

To put a spin on your throw, twist the Wii Remote at the end of your swing.

The intended amount of spin varies depending on the type of ball used and oil pattern build up on the lane. Further game progression will allow you to unlock balls that allow for more spin and to counter act certain lane conditions and oil build up.

 

Using Multiple Wii Remotes:

In a Multiplayer game you and your friends can either use 1 Wii Remote and taking turns passing it around or each player can bowl with his own Wii Remote.  (Up to 4 different people can play with 4 separate Wii Remotes.)

To play using separate Wii Remotes when the prompt to bowl appears have the player who’s turn it is press the “A” button on his Wii Remote.  His Wii Remote will become active allowing him to bowl.  After he is finished have the next player press the “A” Button on his Wii Remote.  Continue doing this each time it is a player’s turn to bowl.
