Considered the best female poker player in the world by many, Annie Duke regularly proves that women can excel in a game traditionally dominated by men. Born in Concord, New Hampshire, she began playing at age 22, leaving the University of Pennsylvania to learn the game from her famous brother, Howard Lederer, who remains one of her mentors.
